The Psychotopography of a Sustainable Future

The human spirit has exploded into reality. Every single problem our world faces has now become a problem of human psychology. From the temperature of seas and health of species at the very bottoms of the deepest oceans to the quality of the air we breathe the world over. The last unclaimed tract of land on the Earth was absorbed into the nation-state system a year before the twentieth century dawned. After two frightening wars, the world is held hostage by weapons and transnational corporate greed. The unconscious forces that have allowed us to burst into being on this incredible level of existence and master our environment must now, themselves, be mastered. It is our own shadow that haunts us now.

We must tear down the prisons we have erected for ourselves around our hearts and spirits and we must consciously manifest a pattern at our very cores which will fan out and free this world from the disease and death our species has aligned itself with. To do this, we must see that the barriers between our inner world and our outer world are illusions and that our touch transcends even the ends of our fingertips and goes on to affect everything. Everything.

The natural world and the intelligence of the human dimension can and must be united so that a compassionate global society can begin to exist and affect an enlightened transformation. We chose now. The next step in the evolution of Life has been given to us. For all we know, this opportunity is unique the entire universe over. We could be the very first.

For better or for worse, design is the future of humankind. This responsibility is great and the stakes have never been higher. Psychotopography is the exploration and mapping of this relationship between the human mind and the future of our world. We will either explore this territory and chart this new frontier… or we will be annihilated.

The time has come to lift our eyes to the horizons of human potential. The time has come to crystallize a vision of collective awakening. The future of our people does not have a time limit. We are not planning a hundred years into the future. We are not speculating where we will be by the next millennium.  We are adopting a time line that has no end. We are allowing our species to progress and evolve and grow and reach deeply into the mysteries and wonders of this universe forever more.

We represent the inevitable rise of a healthy and sustainable planetary civilization, and that time has absolutely, unquestionably now come.
