How liberating it was to learn that we could shed our burdens, the past we carried with us. Our souls colided, not as a train wreck, but as the spark of real love. Look what has happened to me! What was so dark for both of us is now a clear sky, a fresh breeze. I witnessed such a beautiful day… and then another… and then another.
You know that I deserve a clean slate and the benefit of the doubt. And I know that you do too. This is the original meaning of the Garden of Eden. In fact sometimes that slate is so clean that it's a mirror, or at least polished to a reflective surface!
We need to understand this is playful and pure love. We can of course, always forget the world of our pains, as children do (as bruised and dirty as they get on the playground) and that forgetfulness is the blessing of innocence. We pass the ball, back and forth, and it is not mine nor yours: even ownership has yet to exist for us. They aren’t my problems, or your problems… they’re just problems. Puzzles. They can even be fun to solve.
Some of the things I say press on the hurt that you reveal. When I hear tale of the hurt, I want to come to your aide — this is a very human kindness. It’s that I listen to you and your hurts and concerns, and want to make certain to be gentle with the wound, but apply enough protection and pressure to help. The irony is that I’m easy going to a fault. I’m hardly one to nag! But I do care and I want you to do what you need to do to feel healthy.
I bring the gift of opportunity to you, so that you can do something about your woes. This is part and parcel of my willingness to maintain the clean slate, polish you and myself to perfection, reflect with you. I pay heed to your wants and your needs, and navigate the conflicts that emerge, without exception, as a law of life. Look and you will see only the symptoms of my unwavering belief in your potential for growth and your total power to transform and transmute yourself and your world. I hope you can believe in me, too. There is so much of our Love for others that lay within ourselves, and depends upon our love for ourselves! These two things are intimately connected, so much so that lately I believe they may be two sides of the same coin.
Yes, I believe in you. And I will serve your dreams! In that, my love is and has always been illimitable — and it is this that I reflect: my love for you is illimitable because your true nature is as boundless as the kingdom of heaven.
At last, timelessness is ours when we make use of our time in a noble and worthy fashion. The quality of our hours must supersede their quantity, and life understood is life lived. Use your hours to shed your burdens then rise with me above them, for all our days.
